For over 50 years, the town of Murray, Nebraska has hosted the Freedom Festival on the 4th of July. This celebration is about honoring the anniversary of our United States' independence.  It is a day full of small town family fun.  Come visit us and enjoy an old-fashion celebration.

Join us the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm for our monthly planning meeting. The meeting is held at the Murray Town Hall.

Murray Freedom Festival Highlights


The Murray Freedom Festival is a Nonprofit Charitable Organization with the State of Nebraska as of December 2015. All tax-deductible donations go to the Festival Fund and are used for costs associated with the Free Annual Firework Show, purchasing fireworks, insurance, advertising, equipment, medals, prizes, administrative supplies, etc. Continuous support and donations by individuals and businesses are deeply appreciated and assist in making the Festival possible each year.
